Biography

I am Diana Warner, standing as your parliamentary candidate for Filton and Bradley Stoke in the 2015 general election. I live in Filton.

I am a GP by profession and I have worked in Bristol for twenty-five years, including ten years as a partner in Bishopston and ten years as associate GP in Hartcliffe. As a partner in General Practice I have experience in running a small business and in planning health care.

At present I am working at Stoke Gifford and Conygre Medical Centre for a nine month period. You may have seen me at Conniston Medical Centre, Patchway, last summer; or at Bradley Stoke Surgery where I worked for three months in 2012.

Gavin Richards, the Business Manager at the Stoke Gifford & Conygre Medical Centre was kind enough to supply the following endorsement:

“Dr Warner has told us that she is motivated to stand as MP in order to do the best she can for the health of the people around her. She wants people to have the opportunity to thrive, with a living wage for those in work and reliable security for people who are not in a position to work. She knows what is needed to save and strengthen our NHS. She wants to represent her constituents and be their mouthpiece in Westminster.

The NHS has seen a lot of change recently and this is expected to continue. We think that Parliament would benefit from having more MPs with practical experience of the NHS and fully encourage Dr Warner in her aim of becoming MP for Filton and Bradley Stoke.”
