CANDIDATE FOR BIRMINGHAM HODGE HILL

The Birmingham Hodge Hill parliamentary seat is a diverse place. It includes Alum Rock, Shard End, Kitts Green, Bordesley Green, Washwood Heath and of course Hodge Hill. You need an MP that wants to represent and work with all the different parts of the community and help bring them together. Working as a hospital Doctor has helped me understand people from all walks of life so I think I would be able to do that.

I grew up in Birmingham, I know what a great city it is, but it would be a privilege to be elected an MP here so that I got the chance to help make it even better. If elected I would work with you to:

1. Do more for young people in the area, helping them to find work and training in local and nearby businesses and give them more places to go and things to do in the evenings & weekends to keep them off the streets.
2. Support local businesses and residents in making sure the Council keep residential areas and high streets clean and tidy and in good condition.
3. Try to find more ways to bring people from the different communities together.

Getting any of this done would be hard work. But as long as you will work with me, I know we can achieve these things and make all of the parts of the Hodge Hill parliamentary seat better places to live and work for everyone. Labour have been in power in Hodge Hill for a long time and I think given a chance I can do a better job. No politician can solve all the problems in a community and I’m not promising to. But I do promise that I will work very hard to do what I can and with your support I can make a big difference.
