LINDSEY HALL
CANDIDATE FOR WESTMINSTER NORTH
Lindsey has lived in Westminster North for all of her adult life and has raised her three daughters in the constituency.
Committed to the local community, Lindsey is both a School Governor and a Westminster City Councillor. Active with the local Conservative Party for many years she was elected as the Member for Abbey Road in 2007. Since joining Westminster City Council she's become known as the "Anti-Fraud Tsar", having led the local fight against organised benefits fraud which has saved local taxpayers over £12 million and rising. She continues to work closely with Lord Freud and Baroness Hanham, acting as a "conduit" from the front-line to Ministers so that they know what is going on.
Lindsey is a great supporter of David Cameron and George Osborne's leadership and their focus on mending the disastrous public finances Labour left behind; tackling uncontrolled immigration; capping previously unlimited benefits to ensure that work always pays and to giving the British people a vote on UK's European membership. She wants to join the Conservatives in Parliament to ensure the progress Britain's made since 2010 isn't reversed.
Commenting on her selection, Lindsey said:
"I'm honoured to have the opportunity to stand as the Conservative Candidate in Westminster North at the next General Election. I've lived, worked and raised my family here and am committed to my local community. I look forward to campaigning on behalf of the people of Westminster North and to returning a Conservative Member to Parliament."
