Experienced, motivated and ready to lead, Elizabeth is a local South Warwickshire woman standing up for local people.

As someone who lives locally with her family, Elizabeth uses the same services that other residents use day in, day out. She understands the issues and concerns facing local people and is working with our Lib Dem local team to build a strong economy and fairer society for Stratford and south Warwickshire.

Like other local people, Elizabeth is concerned at the way local Conservatives have taken our area for granted for too long. From failing to protect our local villages and countryside from developers to our out-of-touch MP not batting an eyelid at charging taxpayers' £6,000 in one year for heating his stables!

Elizabeth is heading the fight to protect our green spaces from developers who are taking advantage of the Conservative council's planning shambles that has left our area vulnerable to inappropriate development. Elizabeth is concerned that already-stretched local services could be put at risk, such as ensuring sufficient school places.

Elizabeth is determined to protect Stratford's unique character and rich heritage. She is working to improve the town centre and make better use of Stratford as a popular tourist destination whilst catering for the needs of local people. Elizabeth wants to see better transport links to the town, including better railway services. Elizabeth also wants to tackle the exceptionally high rents and business rates in Stratford that stop local businesses and traders from flourishing.

Elizabeth has years of campaigning experience, tackling issues of local and national importance. Recently Elizabeth has been successful in changing national policy surrounding Domestic Abuse and is working with national charities and policy makers to improve education and awareness on this and other issues.
