Tom Corbin has lived in Salisbury and the surrounding area since 1978 and has seen a great many changes. He shares a busy household with his wife and family. Tom started his working career at A&AEE Boscombe Down, serving a 4 year apprenticeship for which Tom followed on to maintain Helicopters. Tom changed industry in 2001 to work in the railway industry training for a year to become a Train Driver. Since undertaking this role, Tom has become politically active taking on roles in the Train Drivers union ASLEF and also with Salisbury & District Trades Union Council. Tom is probably best known around Salisbury as part of a very successful labour team in the May local Council elections for which Tom was elected as a City Councillor.
