Lewes, Lloyd Russell-Moyle

Currently he is Vice-President of the European Youth Forum, the campaigning arm of youth workers and youth organisations in Europe, sits on the Council of Europe Advisory Committee on Youth and has successfully worked for the implementation of a youth guarantee scheme in parts of Europe where youth unemployment is highest. Raised in Lewes, Lloyd went to the local school and FE College and then worked in the town's Youth Service, he studied Peace and Conflict at the University of Bradford and had a short spell at the International Falcon Movement - Socialist Education International office in Brussels.

He has for over 10 years taken part in UN negotiations on sustainable development, currently as a civil society organiser at the UN on Post-2015 where he remains at the forefront of discussions on the future global targets and indicators to tackle poverty and environmental degradation.

He had a background in co-operative businesses as a director of one of the UK’s oldest Fair Trade cafés and Company Secretary for a housing co-operative. He was Union-Secretary & Treasurer for his Student Union, Chair of the Woodcraft Folk and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
