Christine is a journalist, lecturer and writer, having worked for the Piper, and BBC Scotland in Aberdeen.

She married into the North East and has family from Bridge of Don to Glassel and all the points in between. She and Calum have a daughter, who is about to go on to university.

Christine will be a champion for the North East economy, fighting for jobs and the infrastructure they need.

She'll be a worthy successor to Malcolm Bruce, the NE's strong voice, when he retires. Gordon needs someone who will stand up for the area, not an SNP Yes man doing the bidding of the Central Belt.
