MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR MILTON KEYNES SOUTH

Iain was elected MP for Milton Keynes South at the May 2010 General Election.

Prior to his election, Iain worked in the Board Practice of the Executive Search firm, Odgers, Ray & Berndtson. He also used to run a research unit in Westminster which provides a detailed analysis of Government legislation for its clients, including members of the Shadow Cabinet.

Iain has written a number of articles and books on political issues. He has a keen interest in transport policy and was a member of the House of Commons Transport Select Committee. In October 2013 Iain stepped down from the Committee, having being promoted to the position of Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Transport.
