North West Leicestershire, Jamie McMahon

Jamie is the Labour & Co-operative candidate for North West Leicestershire, serving local residents right across a constituency that includes Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Castle Donington. Jamie is looking to follow in the footsteps of former Labour MP David Taylor.


Jamie works for as Regional Director in the East Midlands for a children's charity. Jamie works to protect the public services relied on by some of our most vulnerable children across Education, Health and Social Care. Jamie has also worked in Local Government looking to help limit the impact of Tory led Government cuts in funding. He’s also proud to be a school governor.


Jamie has been a Labour Party & Co-operative Party activist for many years, being a campaign organiser in key marginal parliamentary seats. He’s also held a number of voluntary positions in the Labour & Co-operative parties.


Jamie lives with his partner Elin and is passionate about school – particularly football and cricket.
