The people of Wirral South deserve a Member of Parliament who has shared your experiences, has substantial experience of the real world and would work to make your life better.

I was born and grew up in the back streets of Liverpool and my Dad worked at Cammell Laird Shipyard, so I understand your concerns and ambitions for your families.

I left secondary modern school without qualifications at fifteen, but graduating from university later in life and a twenty five year career in education shows the commitment, experience and determination I would bring to your service.

In recent years I have campaigned for better disabled access, Amber Alert for missing children and against the closure of local post offices, schools and day centres – to protect the local services that we all rely on.

If you want a Member of Parliament who believes in, and will fight for, a country where you and your family have the opportunity to achieve your full potential, irrespective of background, race or religion, then please vote for me in May 2015.
