Chester is a wonderful place to live. Ours is a city with long history, a proud present and future that excites us all.

Since you elected me in 2010, my priorities have been to champion Chester in Parliament, make the case for local investment with government, and help secure improvements for our area, like the new local theatre and rail electrification.

We’ve achieved so much over the past few years:

Unemployment, including youth unemployment, is down – so more local people across our city have the dignity of work
More companies have opened for business than ever before – creating jobs and breathing life into the local economy
Apprenticeships are up by over 100 per cent – helping young people kick-start their careers
We have a new 21-bed intensive care unit at Countess of Chester Hospital – ensuring high-quality care for local people
Together we’ve done a lot since 2010 – but there’s still more to do to make Chester even better.
